Pantanal Biopark: the largest circuit of freshwater aquariums in the world receives the art of Roberto Gallo
Inaugurated this Monday (28) by Governor Reinaldo Azambuja and Secretary of State for Infrastructure, Eduardo Riedel, the Patanal Biopark – Experience and Knowledge Space places Brazil in the spotlight in the world, with the largest circuit of freshwater aquariums in the world.
In the 19,000 m² of built area, the circuit is the main attraction of the Biopark, with 33 tanks, 23 of which are internal and eight external, which house 220 Neotropical species, 151 of which are Pantanal species; 55 from the Amazon; 14 from Africa and others from Oceania, Asia and Central America. The aquarium also has a supply tank and another for the disposal of
effluents, which totals more than 6 million m³ of water.

The various tanks individually portray environments harmonizing the fauna and flora, with the scenography of the plastic artist, scenographer and environmentalist Roberto Gallo.
